AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

I have a problem with the set up off Accrender from my CD-rom. In the past I had Windows in a 32-bit version on my computer now I have a 64-bit version of it and also of AutoCAD 2012.

How can resolve the problem. See also attached file

You can't.  AccuRender 4 is 32 bit only.  You'll need to try nXt which has both 32 and 64 bit versions.
Still go on right away and install only you will earlier versions of AutoCad too I believe up to 2008 for it to work, but the stability cannot be guarantee. So you still need to go the way of Roy's advise and move up to AR5.
I've been able to install Accurender nXt. But it's very different from Accurender 4. Does someone has a user manual?

You can find all the help you need on this site.

Click on Support - Help and tutorials to get you started. Then use this forum for any specific questions or advice.

Once you get the hang of nXt, you won't be going back to AR4 as the results are much better and the setting up is far simpler.

Here is a good place to go also the webminar on getting started with Nxt is there also.

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"

"nXtRender doesn't use the AO texture image settings for anything, so don't bother trying to use that. I would start use the Diffuse textures at 100% and experiment with the levels of the Specular Reflection. You might need to toggle the…"
