AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Any idea why the decals applied to the wide sign holders at the back and back-left of this image show, while those applied to the narrower sign holders do not?  The sign holders are similar blocks, the only difference is one is wider than the other.  I just tried this on a whim. Always before I've applied decals to a solid within the block, but in this case that would require about a dozen blocks or a separate solid with graphic placed in front of each sign holder.

There's a known issue with "instanced" blocks and decals applied directly to the block insertion.  Blocks become instanced after you get to a certain number-- 5 I think.  Your best bet is to apply a decal to an object within the block.  You may be able to do this using the in-place block editor in AutoCAD.  If not, you can certainly wblock it out, apply the decal, and insert it back in.

Very nice rendering, BTW.  Don't be shy about submitting to the gallery.

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"
