I have had a few instances where my nXt does not recognize the license when I first start it. It says it's running in demo mode and I have 'x' days left. I fill in the authorization form *again* and press the auth button. I then get a message stating that nXt is already registered and it then starts up.

I can quite AutoCAD and it may or may not start up the next time. Any ideas?

We have had few cases like this where the software was authorized earlier this year and the authcode generated doesn't seem to want to stick.

The quickest way to fix this has been to use the "Report Problem..." button on our license dialog to send us a message. Then I can generate a new authcode for you and email it back with instruction on how to paste it into the license dialog.

Please try that.

Thanks.

Okay, will do. It may not happen for awhile, but I'll send it when it does.

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"

"nXtRender doesn't use the AO texture image settings for anything, so don't bother trying to use that. I would start use the Diffuse textures at 100% and experiment with the levels of the Specular Reflection. You might need to toggle the…"
