Use the ones you've got as a basis for creating more.

Right click on a material similar to what you want in the materials palette and select Copy and Edit. This then creates a new material based on the existing one and you can then change the colour/texture/reflectivity etc. and save it with a new name.

OK, THANKS 4 YOUR HELP.

www.accustudio.com has a bunch of ready to bake materials. There are also tutorials on making your own materials. That's one of the basics of nXt you'll have to master.

If you're looking for something specific and are having trouble creating it, you can always post a message here and there are plenty of people that would be more than happy to help.

does that includes you peter?....:D:D:D:D:D

The best materials you can make are by yourself, get a nice seamless texture and play with the properties. As Peter said, use the existing preset materials to make your compound materials. You can also create excellent materials using good textures.

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"

"nXtRender doesn't use the AO texture image settings for anything, so don't bother trying to use that. I would start use the Diffuse textures at 100% and experiment with the levels of the Specular Reflection. You might need to toggle the…"
