AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Model & background - hoew to match them together?

Hi all

Any ideas how to match the model perspective (camera, or viewpoint..) with the background, using the certain resolution, ex. 1920x1080?
I used to place it correctly in AccuRender 3 using the preview window.
Is there any "preview" possibility in nXt so one can use it in AutoCAD ?

What I do by now, is just guessing. And using photoshop to fix the perspective lines.

Any ideas, gentlemen?

Waiting for ideas - Best Regards.

The nXtRender Background Wizard lets you preview the positioning of background images or Hdri skies

Take a look

I am out of the office now, but will add more details later,

The background wizard seems a bit backwards to me. I'd always would want to align my rendered view with the background, not the background with the rendered view.

Agree. But any ideas how to achieve this goal?

It seems double dutch to me.

R U sure u mean AutoCAD ?

Easiest way is to use the background in WalkAbout.  You can manipulate the model view in real time using the mouse or arrow keys while the background is displayed.  You may need to turn some layers off so the view manipulation is faster.

Thx Roy. It looks exactly like in AR3 and AR4. I use nXt for couple of days and I just didn't spot it.

The "backwards" way by Garret seems to be a good Solution to proceed more precisely, the point is nXt adds-on file doesn't work, but this is the point for a new Discussion.
