AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

I currently have Accurender 3 & 4 and have downloaded a trial version of nXt. It is running but I can't get the Add-on to load. Please help

I referred your question to Rich Hart at Renderplus-- they wrote these particular add-ons.  He should get back to you.

Did you get an error during the install, or did it simple never load the modules into AutoCAD?

I think it is loaded (appears under nXt under program files), but I get 'unknown command' when I type nxt_layer_materials

Thanks, I'll test it and see what's going on.

I reinstalled everything to test this and my commands were no longer automatically loading when the Plugin loaded, like they used to. I may have turned some setting in AutoCAD off...

Try using APPLOAD to load the nXtRender module in the AccuRender nXt/RPS_BIN folder for your system.

Here I loaded nXtRender_load_R19_x64.arx for my 64 bit AutoCAD 2013:

And things started to work again. At least the Background Image Wizard worked for me, once I'd specified a background image.

I still got an error for the Render Ready blocks command not being found.  I'll see what's happened to that. We probably need to rewrite that anyway, since they changed the locations of modls stored on the 3D warehouse.

The Material Styles routine was incorporated into the nXt Materials panel, so that button is not necessary now.

tried appload 30 mins ago and for nxtrender_load_R18 (19)_x64.arx - acad command bar siad 'unable to load' could this be because I have the trial version?

"Found 'Textured Mesh Support' only works with obj and 3ds Files which do not contain PBR Maps. To 'obj' converted newer 3ds do not render in nXt :-("

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"
