AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

I find myself downloading stuff from the warehouse alot.

Thinking should I bring in something into sketchUp render/assign materials with Irender, how can I take it to AutoCad such the Nxt there will recognise the material assignment.

If i understand what Roy said, all the materials are compatible between Accurender for Autocad,  Accurender for Revit and for Sketchup

You can't.  The material files are compatible but the data stored by IRender won't transfer.

would it be possible to make them transfer in the future? As there are plenty of pre-assigned stuff to download, this would make nXt even more convenient...

Anything's possible.  Accessing the IRender stuff would be a bit of a project.  Accessing the SketchUp base materials would probably be easier.

as an user who often downloads stuff which "is out there" I am more interested in transferability of materials and assignments, created on other platforms (be it SketchUp, MAX, VRay, Maxwell, Lightwave) than in interoperability of nXt on different platforms...obviously, this is very personal POV
