advanced rendering for AutoCAD
Hi AllCurrently have cpu with 4 cores that all run at 100% when rendering with NtX. Updating system in the office so, when rendering with NtX and renderfarm can anyone tell me if all the cores run flat out also in 6 core and 8 core cpu's. ???
If you want fast renderings, then all cores will run "flat out" while rendering.
If, for some reason, you don't want all cores active, you can limit the number of cores, or lower the priority. (And, of course, then renderings will take l longer)
Also, if you go "whole hog" and get a 2-processor system - in the same computer, then all cores on both processors will be used for rendering.
The Render Farm will let you split the rendering process between 2 or more computers - by rendering part of the image on each machine, for even faster, overall, rendering speeds.
