advanced rendering for AutoCAD
decal as area light
i tagged this decal of a fireplace as area light and checked the "use object color" box. The results are as i expected with the packet tracer but don't seem to work with the path tracer. What am i doing wrong here?

Looks like it's not working. I will fix it-- in the meantime you can probably use a material (just set the tile size to the size of the face and using mapping to set the origin to the lower left corner.)

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this.
