advanced rendering for AutoCAD
decal in block
when i add a block with a decal apllied to it in my drawing i'm not able to view this decal in my rendering. Strange thing is that when i render in the block editor( within my drawing) everything looks fine. Exploding or changing from path- to packet tracer doesn't change anything. Any suggestions?

Make sure the decal map can be found from your drawing-- it should be on the search path somehow. Decals are not currently embedded.
Send a simple example if you want-- it may be a bug-- although lots of people are doing this sort of thing successfully. Make sure you send the decal image. You can work around it for now by drawing a face w/ decal that's positioned where the screen should be.

hmmm... sorry to have wasted your time. I somehow messed up my drawing with inserting the block, deleting it and re-inserting the block. Things were getting corrupted. I took an earlier back-up and everything works fine now. Thanks anyway.

Roy/ All,Currently use AR5 with AutoCad Architecture 2017. Have, and typically use ACAD 2022, but AR5 doesn't load, so I revert back to 2017 when it's time to use AR5).Long time user...had to create new profile due to Architecture firm closing (boss retired).
