AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hi, Roy,

I think that we need a "logo" for the identity of nXt, and a specific icone to put in acad. Can you provide it to us, or start a little "competition" to find it. The winner could get 2 centuries without desease, a travel to seattle to shake your hand, or ... his head in our hall of fame!

I love this, on the others, the border of the "nXt" is too fat. This one appear flashy and dynamic. It can be used, taking a line, all the width of the folder... Just to see, can you try it on a grey background, and/or make one in black & white, photocopy style? If you got the time...
Oops, made a mistake in reducing the drawing to keep the file size down. This one should be better. This drawing is very flexible. Every part is on a different layer and nearly each effect is adjustable. Colors, shades, fonts, ray lenght can be changed (short logo, long logo). If anyone wants to play around with it, i'll be happy to post it. hmm... 118 MB, is that possible?

I like what I see! Some cool ideas. We had a contest for AR4 and all of the images were posted at Accustudio at one time. I will try to resurrect it for reference. There was a couple of really good ideas back then too.
Did you get my email earlier about this? Maybe I'm using the wrong one.
OK... I pulled all of the stuff from AR4 (for grins) AR4 Gallery
2D study in grey, big simplification...

yep, that's the way to go i guess, certainly after the comments from Scott.
I think you just win your eternity...;o)
If someone wants to invest a couple hundred dollars into the creation of a new logo, I would suggest starting a CrowdSpring project. When we wanted to create a new logo for Render Plus, CrowdSpring worked out very well.

We have run several design projects there (website, logo, etc.) . What was nice is that they offer some fresh ideas, and the designers do a lot of work for a chance at a relatively small reward.

I am currently running a CwordSpring project to design the banner at the top of the nXt for SketchUp and nXt for Revit forum. Take a look and/or add your thoughts if you like: New Header.

Here is one of the "finalists" in the competition:

Questions for nxt render for autocad

Good day everyone,Can anyone here help me with these issues i keep having with nxt render for autocad ?1. How do you bring in textured models into autocad ( 3ds and obj) without losing their textures or having to re-assign them.2. How do you move these objects from place to place without experiencing viewport refresh sluggishness in the autocad viewport ?3. How do you add dirt to fabric textures for rendering.4.
