AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hi all!

Does anybody have experience with any panorama viewer? Which are the best in order to be redistributable across clients (let's mean free, light, easy-to-use, etc)? What's the best image format (jpeg, png) to be saved into ImageEditor for panoramas?

Thanks!

The old smoothmove pan viewer is free and lightweight....small footprint

edit: I had posted a link that turned out to be a dead end. Looked on one of my workstations and found this loaded...seems to work ok: http://www.wpanorama.com/wpanorama.php?r=1315491526

There are others though, here's a link to many of the threads that have discussed this topic,

Thanks Thomas,

actually the old beloved Smoothmove doesn't work on Win7 64 bit. And all the products on the link you submitted are much more than a simple "rude" pan viewer...

I don't have much experience with any of these-- but there are a pile of them out there.  Most of the basic ones are free.

Some of them can do self-executing files.

Thanks Roy, I'll have a look at some of them.
I currently have SmoothMove Pan Viewer version 5.0 running on my Windows 7 64 bit machine, I've never encountered any problems with it. You might look at the properties tab on the executable file and tell it to run as a 32 bit application. Just a thought. I have been able to pick up the the .jpgs that NXT produces and just change the extension to .pan & they run fine.

Great info Wayne...thankyou!

Whereas the Smoothmove installer will not run setup on a 64-bit machine, you can install the program on a 32-bit machine, then copy the entire Infinite Pictures folder to the Program Files (x86 )folder on a 64-bit machine. Works on both XP64 and Win7 64.

Thanks Barry, I'll try this option on a virtual machine with 32bit OS.

Anyway, FSPViewer works perfectly like SmoothMove.

How did you do it? where did you specify it to install as a 32 bit application?

akinlolu, It will NOT install as a 32bit app on a 64bit machine. You must run the installer on a 32bit OS and then copy the installed folder from the 32bit machine to the program files (x86) folder on your 64bit machine. Create a desktop shortcut, and you should be good to go.

Thanks

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More

3D_Replication final

I created this replication of one of Peter Milner's renders, not with AI but with sketchup (with the matchnewphoto tool), autocad and nxtrender.Critics and comments are welcome.
