AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hello Roy,

I was wondering,

In the previous veresion of nXt (1.0.79.0) there was an option called "preview rendering"

It was really helpful because it allowed me to quickly see how the shadows and lighting would look like before activating the real lenghty rendering.

Is it possible to add that feature to newer versions of nXt?

Thank you

It's gone for good, I'm afraid.  It's just a low-res rendering-- you can simulate it by selecting Viewport resolution and something like 80,000 pixels.
Sure, it does work, but in the previous version it was a real time preview.

It was removed because the vast majority of users found it annoying rather than helpful.  It was difficult to implement in an AutoCAD environment-- particularly trying to keep a large model updated.

I am working on a stand-alone version of the software based around this concept of "always rendering".  If the window is small enough, it could probably be classified as "real time."

thank you
