AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hi. I have a big problem: when a insert a tree (a palm specifing), and click in the render button, only apear the tree with a gigant size. Althroug I use the scale command in the AutoCAD, the image in the render is in the same way. What happened? I use the nxt 0231.

I'm not sure what you mean by the "scale" command. Make sure your units are set correctly (this must be done anyway.) Either use the AutoCAD "_UNITS" command or the "_INSUNITS" system variable (with INSUNITS 1 is inches, 4 is mm). If you think the units are correct, I'll need to take a look at your drawing and plant file. I did try to reproduce this here with a palm-- it worked fine.

Plants can be scaled using the AutoCAD scale command.
Friend, the unicts are correct (mm), I look all the project ant the plant file, also, and I used the AutoCAD command scale in the plant. Anything else? Can you help me?

Thanks by the reply. God Bless You.
I'll need to take a look at the drawing and ArPlant file if you're willing. Use this link to send it. Zip up the drawing and the plant file together. Use roy@mcneel.com as the recipient. Add any comments or special instructions.

Send the simplest model you can.
OK friend I sand this files by the link. Thank you...
Didn't get it-- try again using the same link-- you can find it above under Support->Upload a File. Make sure you press the Upload Now button after you fill in your email address and Browse for the file.
Now Yes, I could send the files.
This drawing was a little stubborn about getting its units changed-- I did the following:

(1) Typed _INSUNITS and changed it from "1" (inches) to "6" (meters)
(2) Erased your existing plants
(3) Switched to WCS-- the UCS you gave me wasn't good for inserting
(4) Reinserted the two palms.

This is what I got:

OH! Perfect.
To finish my discussion:

*Is possible to change the scale in the plant's programm (nxt Plant editor)?
because if I will change the units, so the draw's scale change also.
*And, I searched, but I don't founded: How to put RPC objects in the Accurender nxt?

Thank's by the replies.
The Lord Jesus bless you!!

PS.: I'm sorry, I'm brazilian end I don't know a lot of english ;-)
Plants are always defined in real word units in the Editor. They are always scaled automatically based on the drawings scale. You normally do not need to change anything if you change the drawing's units. You may need to delete and reinsert the plants if you have to scale the objects in the drawing.

Info. on using RPCs in available here.
