AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

I am in need of some quick help -

I had a base plan open when I opened another drawing to check a model and ran a test nXt rendering on it.

Now, every time I open my base plan I get the ObjectARX proxy dialog box.

Which I do not want as this base plan is going out to all my consultants and will never be rendered in 3D.

How can I get rid of the Accurender Proxy object that nXt created on my base plan?

Thanks!

At one time there was a suppression routine that prevented nXt from writing this proxy object onto every open drawing when opened.

OK - I found a solution on my own...

MAKE A WBLOCK OF THE ENTIRE DRAWING

Do not use the "Entire Drawing" button option within the WBLOCK dialog box.

Select all objects manually (with a pick box) and then write it out as a renamed DWG.

Then write that DWG back over the file that has the ObjectARX alert.

The embedded proxy will be gone as it is not a selectable object and is "missed" by write block operation.

Hope this helps others.

Hmmm... this doesn't happen on my system for non-graphical nXt objects-- not sure why you get this.  In any case-- you can try to get rid of the thing by using a DXFOUT->IN cycle.  Try the following:

Open AutoCAD with a blank drawing.

Load nXt

Type DXFOUT to create a dxf.

Close AutoCAD and reopen with a blank drawing (this step is important!)

Use DXFIN to retrieve the drawing.

Let me know if it works.

Hallo,

if I have a proxy-alarm when I start a drawing, I use the folling link:

http://www.maestrogroup.com.ua/support/

There is the explodeProxy.zip

Try it.

I use it three times, one after the other, in the same drawing:

1. EXPLODEALLPROXY
2. REMOVEALLPROXY
3. EXPLODEALLPROXY

After that there are no more proxys. But be careful and use first a copy of your drawing.

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More

3D_Replication final

I created this replication of one of Peter Milner's renders, not with AI but with sketchup (with the matchnewphoto tool), autocad and nxtrender.Critics and comments are welcome.
