AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hi everybody,

I have a 20mb file with RPC content which I xref into a new file. While the RPC content does render in the primitive file, it doesn't in the new file. What's wrong?

Do they render if you use the AutoCAD _RENDER command?
I'll try as soon as I have time, Roy. At the moment I'm rendering the original files but surely I'll let you know.
Do not know why but X-refed RpC's do not render. Never tried with the autocad render command

In a simple scene when only the file where the RPC is, is X-refed it renders either way.

Bring in the whole scene and the RPC shows only when the visual style is in 2d wireframe.

Same also when you render the RPC does not show in the rendering either way.

I have no idea what you're saying.  You'll need to provide a set of steps for me to try to reproduce the problem (if it is a problem.)

Problem is RPC's not rendering when X-Ref. Well i found out now that they do, dependiing on the complexities.

When you a bunch of RPC's in a drawing without any other objects, X-ref into another drawing they render fine both in Nxt and with autocad naive render command.

When you also have a single RPC with other object but not much and you X-ref only that file it also renders fine.

Should you put that single RPC with the other (not so much) objects and X-ref into a bigger drawing with other objects, the RPC does not render.

In all my believe is that it has to do more with the plugin than with nxt or autocad.

What autocad render (with the render command) is what nxt render too (either in walkabout window or an autocad viewport)

Akinlolu, you've actually done the job I was going to do further. To me, and as you describe, it is a problem of RPC plugin, not ACAD or nXt themselves. Now I'm rendering a 50mb file containing only RPC with a project x-refed and works fine!
I will try sharing this tread with the tech folks at Archvision maybe they can  help.

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More

3D_Replication final

I created this replication of one of Peter Milner's renders, not with AI but with sketchup (with the matchnewphoto tool), autocad and nxtrender.Critics and comments are welcome.
