"Akin, I think you need to work on the glass material more. The IOR, Reflecction and Bitmap (if any) needs to be worked on. The material characteristic is key to realistic Illustration."

Bug in NXT 355?

I have not used NXT in about a month but I went back to it for the rendering of a product I was putting together for fuel efficiency in motor engines. Surprisingly, I discovered NXT was defaulting to render at 740 X 404 pixels no matter what resolution I specified. I have been trying to sort this out in the last 48 hours without success. What could be wrong? The last time I rendered something, everything was okay. The only thing I can figure out is that perhaps NXT is jealous cos I have been…See More

Rich Hart replied to Andrew Uno's discussion Help: Need to increase the DPI of nXtRenderings
"The trick to just change the DPI in PhotoShop is to uncheck Resample Image.  Then the number of pixels in the image remains the same. This is explained here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/image-size-resolution.html"

Rich Hart replied to Andrew Uno's discussion Help: Need to increase the DPI of nXtRenderings
"Right. You can use a program like PhotoShop to specify that the DPI is 300. That doesn't change the number of pixels in the image, but simply changes the size that it prints to. You would want to use the same program that your art department…"
