AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

I've noticed on a few occations that when I go into the channels while rendering in the walkabout window and adjust the lighting it will not let you go in a second time to fine tune your settings. Actually it will let you but gives you an error and some of the sliders are zero that were not before. Adjusting the sliders at this point has no effect.

Haven't seen this.  I'll need to able to reproduce it before I can do anything about it.  Let me know if you find a consistent way to reproduce it, and I'll give it a try.
I believe it has to do with setting one of the channels beyond the 0-5 range.

Roy,

I believe I have my particular bug isolated.

If you set up a material with some glow, then start a rendering and select the channel button (I really like having this in the render window by the way). Turn the material glow channel up past 5 and exit the channel dialog. Now open the channel dialog back up to create the error.

The rendering will still continue but you loose the ability to use the channel dialog from the render window until you save and exit the Acad drawing and then reopen.

Thanks Chas-- I'll check it out.
What I notices is that it greys out ie the channel button during rendering even without accessing it:
The channel button will be grayed out if you haven't turned on multiple channels in Lighting->Advanced.  Let me know if it is grayed out when it shouldn't be.
At times it does and the tweaking then has to be done in the IE.
I need an example I can reproduce.  When you've got one-- let me know.

"For compatibility with AutoCAD 2026 you would need to purchase a license upgrade for nXtRender (AccuRender).  As an AR5 license holder you are eligible for a discount which we can give to you if you contact us at support@renderplus.com."

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More
