AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hi All

Autocad box pop's up when rendering in walkabout - rendering pass.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. Parameter is not valid.

Details tab and a Continue tab in box.

Continue tab sends me back to autcad walkabout without crashing the program.

------------------------------------------------------------------

This happens when the model is large and I'm looking at a small part of it . Any thing I'm doing wrong or just asking nxt to mush.

Should I dumb down the resolution?

Info - Computer AMD phenom quad core 965 with 8GB Ram, both 32bit and 64bit windows running. build 279 - autocad 10 32bit.

Thankful for your comments.................

You're likely running into the 32bit address space limitation.  (Let me know if this is happening in the 64 bit version-- in that case the problem is something else.)

If you haven't done so already, you may be able to increase your address space from 2GB to 3GB which could temporarily relieve the problem.  The only cure for large data sets and high-res images is moving to the 64 bit version.

Thanks for replying

Yep, sound right the same thing happened in AR4 when a tried to load large models.

So you are talking about Virtual memory settings(paging file) in performance option - advanced tab.

It currently 2046mb, I sholud increase to 3000mb right.

"For compatibility with AutoCAD 2026 you would need to purchase a license upgrade for nXtRender (AccuRender).  As an AR5 license holder you are eligible for a discount which we can give to you if you contact us at support@renderplus.com."

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More
