I can't find this drawing to start out on the tutorials. It doesn't seem to be part of what I downloaded or part of Autocad 2011. Please advise - Thank you very much
Thank you, Kevin - it seems that my win7 system is burying this file as no such zip is to be found by search in either Explorer or Locate32 (my favorite search program) nor can the cork.jpg or deckwood textures be found if they're unzipped during installation. If I could get into the exe instead of installing perhaps I could extract it. I'm wondering if there are other files missing although nxt seems to be installed correctly otherwise.
The download is not part of nXt. You must download and save the tutorial drawings separately. Kevin provided the link above. It's also in the tutorial itself. The link is a zip file which you must extract yourself. There is no .exe nor are any files extracted during the download. If you click on the link and don't see the option of saving the .zip-- try right clicking and using "Save Target As..." instead.
A lot of nXt content requires separate downloads from the program. Look under the Downloads sections for things like materials and plants....
I see, thanks. I haven't used accurender since my previous job w/ accurender 3 and autocad 2006 so I've some catching up to do. The new version of both programs seems most intriguing but I think I still prefer the Accurender program to the Autocad engine.
Gentlemen,The last file I used to load, was ArAcad_24_64.arx, and, unfortunately, it doesn't work with Acad 2025.Any idea how to get the proper nXt-App which suits Acad 2025?Any help appreciated...Regards, Maciej MarkowskiSee More
Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More
