AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

HELLO;I'm just starting to use the new program nxt. I created a file that loads in autocad xref various components of the design, the building trade, the green areas and the largest residential building (yet to be completed).  in every single file I'm setting materials.  the light sector in the global file and the resolutionI wanted to do only three questions: 1-how do I set the resolution? 2 - where I see what is missing at the end of the render? in Version 4 was the trend of the percentage.  3- xref because it loads the local business is black and not to render the file in the bricks as a single? Thanks to all  I added two image files

Roberto-- the text in your message was black. I needed to remove some formatting before I could actually see it, otherwise the question was not visible. I don't know what editor you're using to post your questions, but it isn't working.

1. The resolution is set either under Render Settings or in the WalkAbout screen, depending on how you're initiating the rendering.
2. Unlike previous versions, nXt will continue to render until you decide it's done. There is no progress bar and no real concept of completion. You can arbitrarily cause it to stop by limiting the number of passes under Render Settings-- although in general this is not recommended.
3. I'm not sure I completely understand this question. In general, xrefs work fine. If you have a situation that is not behaving properly I'd be happy to take a look at the model.
As for the color of the discussion, I use google translate from Italian into English, and I copy / paste the text that I translated. I noticed that I actually had the debate in black, but even if I used the option to remove the formatting, it remained black. Now paste in a txt file, and then in the debate.
In this way the formatting is removed.

1-thanks, I should explain how to set a decent resolution, which values are usually put to good press?

2-thanks, I understand, then to me at this point a question arises: I used to set a series of render in the batch, and overnight the PC worked and I pulled out all the render. now how does it work?

3-regarding point 3, I followed the following steps: I unplugged the xref, practically eliminates the autocad drawing and inserted again. perhaps due to the fact that it started with version 4, and even though I upgraded to version nxt, has some drawbacks
1. Resolution values ranging from 300,000 to 1,000,000 pixels are usually adequate for web work. 2,000,000 to 3,000,000 work pretty well for printing.

2. There is a batch processor in WalkAbout which requires you to set the number of passes you wish to perform. How many passes are required varies a lot depending on your application.

Both of these topics are covered in more depth here. Additional passes may be required for the Path Tracer.

3. I still don't understand. Is it working correctly now?
ok!!!!

now it works correctly!!!

GRAZIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I use a free tool called Pure Text for website design. Removes all formatting without having to use notepad. Should work here too. Copy like usual, then winkey+V to paste. very easy and lite. http://www.stevemiller.net/puretext/
ok
Changing the visretain variable from one to zero would help xref render properly.
