Unlikley-- I haven't made any changes in this area.

Attach an example if you can.

first image very sharp...

below is the latest, you can see jagged line more...they both have over 200pass(not ray path)

Be sure your model is not far from the origin. If possible have the AutoCad's origin right in the middle of you model.

I'm pretty sure the difference here is the lighting and not the nXt build.  In the second example there's direct sunlight and therefore a lot more contrast in the areas between light and shadow.  In nXt jagged edges sometimes occur at these boundaries.  I don't have time to take a close look at these-- and probably won't until Monday-- but my initial feeling is that if you went back a version or two and rendered the second lighting scenario again you'd get identical results.  As far as I can recall, I haven't been messing with the Packet Tracer engine at all.

Just FYI-- one way to anti-alias some of the jaggies is to render at a higher resolution and downsample using Photoshop.  This process can, of course, be too time-consuming to be practical.

thanks you roy

i will give another go

"For compatibility with AutoCAD 2026 you would need to purchase a license upgrade for nXtRender (AccuRender).  As an AR5 license holder you are eligible for a discount which we can give to you if you contact us at support@renderplus.com."

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More
