AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

When I create a curved counter using a solid top and an extruded front, the extrusions disappear in the rendering. Anything that I have curved that has been extruded is gone in the rendering. Is there something that I am doing wrong here?

Thanks in advance.

Are these curved extrusions solids or just arcs with thickness and weight as Nxt only supports solids and not lines/polylines with thickness and weight.

I'm not sure about that akinlolu. Here the green is a circle with thickness, the red a polyline with thickness and width and the blue a line with thickness.

Reggie, can you send us an example of what you're trying to accomplish (jpg or model)?

Try an arc and you get my drift.

Ah yes, you are correct. I never use arcs with thicknesses, so I never thought to show an example.

Polylines with arcs are not supported.  Send an example if you want a more definitive answer.

Thanks Roy, I've had this problem before and didn't realize why but it makes sense. I'll just start making solids and be done with it.

Thank you all for responding. It's been driving me nuts but it makes sense and when I just make the object out of a solid then I don't have a problem.
