The artifact is caused by a linear light source mounted under the sink cabinet. There really isn't anything wrong here-- this is a difficult lighting situation to simulate. The standard engine will take a long time to resolve these sorts of lights, and it's much worse if the surface being illuminated, the floor in your case, is specular or glossy. You can make it go a little faster if you change the shader on the floor material to "Glossy" in the material editor. You will lose some detail in the floor by doing this and it will still take a long time to resolve. A better solution, in my opinion, is to use the Hybrid engine.
