Can't do it-- it's a closed, proprietary file format.

Does it mean you need to have 3d max installed on your machine to get it to open???because I use lumion as you know which allows to insert all types of file format ,but you need the software to be installed to insert any format file you are after.

Yes.  I'm not exactly sure of the approach Lumion is using, but generally speaking you need a Max plugin to read these.
