AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hi

Why the image editor is so slow now? is for the animation thing?

I remember the image editor was very fast and now is way to much slow then

edit channels in the nxt window, even photoshop is like a F1 compared with image editor

there is a way to disable the animation thing or what make slow the image editor?

i was very happy with it, and get used to, but now is almost useless, I use a 16 core opteron machine.

Nope-- nothing changed.  High-resolution images will be slower, of course.

I use High resolution images before and was fast, but some builds ago I feel a decrease performance

until now where is very bad.

Maybe a bad handle of the channels?

I always use more of 5 for interiors, and at least 2 for exteriors

Yes, channels can make it slower.  What resolution are you using?

2820 x 2124

6 channels

That's a huge image.  Almost 6 million pixels.  670 MB of internal storage just to hold the image.  If you do any editing with it, typically an additional temporary image will need to be allocated.

Good luck, this will be cumbersome to work with.

Do you mean the "Walkabout window"? There is nothing animated in nXt Image editor. If you mean the Walkabout window, its speed is relative to your video card speed (in shaded view). I don't think if you switch to wireframe you will have any speed problem while orbiting and walking in the model.

I did add an animation feature to the Image Editor a couple of builds ago.

Oops! :) My bad.

Where is it. Must have missed it.

In the render window, is posible to modify channels, light, burn and saturation while render is cooking

but it was slow the response,

now I feel is fast then image editor

The Image Editor can be a lot slower, particularly if you have added other FX, such as Glare, Depth Blur, etc..  The Image Editor has a "pipelined" architecture-- it always starts with the base data and applies the filters one by one.  One trick is to remove the FX (set them to 0.0), play with the tone op and channels, then put the FX back.

How do you bring in textured models into autocad ( 3ds and obj) without losing their textures or having to re-assign them.2. How do you move these objects from place to place without experiencing viewport refresh sluggishness in the autocad viewport ?3. How do you add dirt to fabric textures for rendering.4.
