need help to apply material on this model

hi guys tried a few times to apply material on this model but invalid. any kind soul can advise?

funny i exploded and tried again but invaild. i copy the model into a new fresh autocad but still dun work

First of all, the scale of the object is really huge. Try to scale it down. The small box attached to the main object has coincident faces which produce dark spot there. Try to delete those faces or to have small gap between the main body and the attached box. Also remove all materials from object (select all and press the Remove Materials from Objects button in materials tab of nXt. Then try to purge all and then assign the glass material to the object again.

And of course, do not forget to remove also the material assignment by the layer.

Like I said just exploded the object and you can union the pieces back with zip tailor.
