After 41 passes the lighting looks horrible cannot figure out why and not not want to use artificial lighting.

Here's what you uploaded (After about a minute.)  There may be something in the missing xrefs causing problems.

Works for me too.

Here's the model with slightly tweaked materials.

I think the parquet is too smooth, try to make it less reflective and at least add a little procedural disturb

Posted the model help give it a shoot. Thanks.

Here is the same file again with e-transmit so the one furniture the dressing and the curtails are included as an x-ref. Mixing the colour of the wall too to get this is another where I need help. Get the wood to finish like this is also important to the client.

Ah, now that's not good.

Have you defined your daylight sources?

Try 50 passes with path tracer to check the lighting and materials.

Day light sources I forgot that thanks doing that now.

Defining the daylight light sources, which in this case are the glasses in the windows solves the lighting problem here even within the first few passes.

You normally do not have to define daylight sources-- just like in the version you sent me nXt usually figures it out. Send a version with all of the stuff in it, use the upload link, and I'll check it out.

Using the Path Tracer will get rid of the daylight source issue altogether, they're ignored for that engine.

Oops-- sorry you already sent it.
