AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Working on a close relative of sub-surface scattering.  Looks like someone burnt dinner, but it's kind of interesting.

Perfect! 254 pliiiiiiiiiiz!!!
If this was allowed to run an extended period of time would the sunlight beams through the window resolve better to predominate better or would the fog/smoke effect be adherent with using this engine?
Sun streaks?
Very low density interior fog.
Can you adjust the size of the particles as well as the density?
I agree

They aren't discrete particles-- (or a true density for that matter. )  What appears to be particlulate is actually just remaining noise in the path tracer.  This one ran for a half hour-- it will get smoother (slowly).

What you're actually specifying with the algorithm I'm playing with is a probability per unit distance that a ray entering the medium will scatter, absorb, or pass through (neither scatter nor absorb.)

Backlit scene.  Coming along.
Same scene-- thicker fog.
Colored fog:
if it was possible to adjust the properties of the fog in the nXtImage editor, that would be marvellous - is it possible, Roy?
Nope.

Questions for nxt render for autocad

Good day everyone,Can anyone here help me with these issues i keep having with nxt render for autocad ?1. How do you bring in textured models into autocad ( 3ds and obj) without losing their textures or having to re-assign them.2. How do you move these objects from place to place without experiencing viewport refresh sluggishness in the autocad viewport ?3. How do you add dirt to fabric textures for rendering.4. How do you avoid repeat patterns in textures for rendering ?See More

Render 1 copy (1)

This is a remake of one of Peter Milner's scenes. I dont have the file. I photo-matched it in sketchup and rendered in nxt render for autocad.I just retouched it and increased the resolution.
