George, nice work, congratulation. Can you explain me the use of Ivy generator? Hor it work wirh nxt? coul be very important when we develop landscape projects.

And here is one with only daylight set. Looks like situation just before the dawn, with light, but without the sun. Both pictures are generated from the single rendering in NXT picture editor.

Good catch Marc about the marble reflection. It is definitely overdone. But it was not visible in the really night version. Which I couldn't present, as there are millions of fireflies still unsolved. I think I must try to knock up a "two-comp-fram" at the office to see if there will be any speed gain.

What do you mean "where are all the lights"? They are almost everywhere in the house, inside, outside, hidden, visible... :D Just the intensity of different light channels tweaked in image editor has given this result. Here is how rendering looked like with all channels set to 1 and brightness to -0.50, burn 0 and saturation 1.40. In case saturation is set to 1 picture looks rather washed out.

Bravo George. Great ambiance... But where are all the lights?

I love the colors of the walls and the wood.

Some reflections are strange, in a window and on the wall of the first stairs, perhaps a material setting.

Anyway beautiful picture.

@ Michele, Ignacio, Qweqwi, Jan and Kingjin:

Thanks folks. :D

@kingjin

Path tracer, 1920X1080, some 20 IES light fixtures, ~20 area lights, here and there light emitting material. AMD Athlon X4 3GHz, 8GB 1666 RAM, WIN7 64bit - rendering time 24hours :(

I suspect rendering time was so long because of use of displacement on stone wall at the house base and due to extended use of textured meshes of ivy. Without those elements rendering speed is incomparably faster. But stones with displacement look really great, don't you think? :)
