Its amazing what nXt can do!

Without a virtuoso's hand even the Stradivarius violin would be just another one violin! ;)

and just for that ..... you will get another image...:D

nice bit of music......

Here is one I did ... inspiration from Oasis song title Cigarettes and alcohol...

Kevin , George have a drink on me..;)

I surely will Mike! Cheers!

Comments on the last image: Black label whisky colour looks weird. But it's quite OK, as it fits right with the overall tone of the image. Only empty wine glasses need much less IOR as glass. They start to refract light only when are filled with wine. Empty they react to light as thin glass, with just very slight refraction in their contour. See attached picture. Nice work though, as usual ;)

hi george

lumion is not  raytracing render..so glass matrials are limited to what lumion can do to it ....not like vray  or more recently fstorm... it has always been lumion achilles heel...so any result like this is really really really good...but they are improving it all the time...NXT Beats them hands down when it comes to glass material.

cheers

Great work as always mr. Maki. Next time add more girlz :P

PS

Are all these done with nxt?

lumion...3dsmax fstorm

cheers

"Found 'Textured Mesh Support' only works with obj and 3ds Files which do not contain PBR Maps. To 'obj' converted newer 3ds do not render in nXt :-("

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"

"Sorry, do not exactly how to do it right. If i sent you one or  sets, could you "compose" one material as an example? Maybe this is interesting for others too.."
