AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

I've been using Accurender 4 running in AutoCAD 2006.  Both are 32 bit programs which I have running in Windows 10 64 bit, using Longbow Converter.  It has actually been working pretty well, but suddenly I can't get it to save rendered images.  I tell it to save, but then the saved file does not show up in the directory which I have saved it to.

As I said, it had been working well, and I had been saving images without any problems, but now it just won't save them.  I don't know what changed.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Maybe some administration rights in particular folders could cause that. Check the destination folder's read-write security properties in windows explorer. If needed, add yourself in the list of full read write rights users.

I don't know if this is a "clue" to the problem, but I tried rendering with radiosity turned off, and I was able to save the file.  It's just a jpg file, so I don't know why that should make any difference, although the rendering time is significantly less with radiosity turned off.  Maybe I should try reducing the number of radiosity steps (currently set at 500) and see if that helps.

"Found 'Textured Mesh Support' only works with obj and 3ds Files which do not contain PBR Maps. To 'obj' converted newer 3ds do not render in nXt :-("

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"
