AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hello,

I'm trying the nxt evaluation version

And I've discovered NXT has no the posibility of save the render as epx piranesi format

There is not even a plugin in the piranesi web

That was a feature AR4 had, and there are pluging for the rest of 3D programs (Autocad, 3D studio, sketchup...)

I think that is a step backwards as piranesi is the best (and only?) postprocessing utility for real 3D.

I used a lot in AR4 to insert even rpcs, people, trees,... with piranesi instead of rendering them in AR4 (much slower), and with incredible efects.

Do you plan to include EPX support in any of the versions?

thanks

Piranesi is supported via the image editor.  Save the rendering in .nXtImage format and open it using the editor.  It's one of the choices under Save Tonemapped Image As...

Heard so much about the post processing ability of piranesi format any point pointers to where one can get information as to the use of this?

It's one of the choices under Save Tonemapped Image As...

i can´t find this format (EPX) in this folder. There´s only the option to save in jpg, tiff and png (with alpha) but not in EPIX. Is it possible that ther german version doesn´t have this choice? Can you help me?

regards from germany

chris

What version of the software are you using?  In particular, some .nXtImage files saved by older versions did not include sufficient information for .epx, so that choice is not offered.

To test:

  1. Create a simple rendering.
  2. Save to .nXtImage format.
  3. Open the image editor with the saved image.
  4. Verify that the option for .epx exists.

Let me know.

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"
