AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

I looked around a bit on the forum and I can't seem to find what I'm looking for, but I might be typing in the wrong phrase to search, so please forgive me if this has been asked and answered already.  I am attaching an image onto the face of a block and it shows perfectly in autocad however when I render it thru it appears that the "base point" has changed.  Is there a way to not have the image repeat?  Also I had built a beverage display cooler and I wanted to make the interior of it white (I made the block black)...I thought there was a way to attach materials to the "face" of the object, but the only option it is giving me is assign to block or assign to layer.  Sorry if this posting is confusing.

I attached the rendering as well as the images that I am using (to show what I want it to look like).

Also I am doing this rendering inside a mall and I am wanting to photoshop the rendering on top of the picture that I will be taking.  Can you tell me what light settings to use?  I don't want the ceiling to be black like it currently is.

You can (probably) either use decals (Object Properties tab) or Materials + Mapping (Materials tab) to get where you want to go.  Decals are covered here.  Since you've already started by using materials, mapping may be your best option.  Use the Quick Mapping button to control the origin and orientation.

Light it the way you want, save it as an nXtImage so you can edit it.  From the ImageEditor, save a png w/ Alpha channel and composite the two together in PS.

To light the underside of the ceiling you can either use ambient lighting, exterior indirect lighting (or the Path Tracer-- both of these options will take a while to resolve), or have some actual lighting that illuminates the ceiling.

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"
