AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Have used AR3 and AR4 since they were both introduced. Does anyone have any side by side comparison images they can show the difference between AR4 and NXT? Also, assume you can take your AR4 material libraries over to NXT? Thanks in advance.

There is an Image Editor that comes with nXt that can read the nXtImage file format.  You should be able to save a jpg from there.  Check your Start menu for an nXt folder.

You should not be running into any memory limitations with a 64-bit AutoCAD + nXt.  Problems saving to jpg should only be occurring on 32-bit systems.

My job finished...

Good... rendering in 3h 48m

Very nice.  Add an image to the gallery when you're ready. (Images on the menu, then Add).

Molto bello, complimenti! Sarebbe bello vederlo come se fosse un plastico tagliato, in questo modo si capirebbe meglio che non è in piano. Bravo!

Grazie per i complimenti...

Excellent Aerial - the landscape there is so much more eye catching than here. I will post some aerials I did this past year as well.

Cheers

As Peter pointed out, its not really an upgrade but feels like, to me, as if Im using a new platform. I was forced to move from AutoCad 2004 and Ar3 to Cad 2008 and a 64 Bit system. Thats when I tried out Nxt and its been win-win since then.

1) Model Loading is very fast

2) Render Quality in the Path Tracer esp for Exteriors is amazing. Its actually a boon to have a choice of 2 render engines because sometimes I combine both to produce a great image.

3) I tried to import the material libraries from Ar3 but realized that its actually better to make new materials from previous maps and start a new library.

4) The Instancing feature has indeed allowed us to use a lot more foliage and multiple blocks - creating aerials has been very good

5) I would suggest using the specially created Plant libraries by Roy and Marc Chaumier.

Things I still cannot figure out so far is the artifical lighting calibration on which I have had discussions before, it can be tricky using them in large spaces.

The way I see it, it will be futile to hang onto Ar3 or Ar4 when the OSs and hardware is going ahead.

Good Day All... i am really very interested in this NXT. Has more than 7 years I worked as interior designer with Intericad.Intericad software is software that has been combined with autocad software. for small scale a good result but I see more great results NXT as it as a result of 3dsmax software ... InteriCAD unfortunately not able to handle large-scale file. And, this NXT really have given a new lease of life for me. You can see all my albums here...

You know, I come from Malaysia and are very keen to have this NXT software. How do I buy and what price here. And there I became a distributor commissions for here?
