AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

One of the "non photorealistic" features of nXtRender Batch will be the ability to create an interactive 3D PDF document of your model. (This will be included in nXtRender for AutoCAD at no additional cost.)

This does not incorporate rendering features - such as lights and reflections. However some used have found it a useful way to transmit a model to a client.

Here is a sample model you can download: 3D PDF Sample

These can be viewed Adobe Reader, and can be embedded into web pages.

(I should warn you that these 3D PDF files work better for relatively small models - and not for large projects because the PDF file just gets too big. The PDF file for download above is about 700KB which is a good size.)

Here is a sample PDF file - and then the same file after the reader orbits the model and zooms in for better detail:

This I must say is beyond cool. Simply Fantastic! When does this get to be incorporated in Nxt AutoCad?

We hope to have a first version of nXtRender Batch running by the end of the month.

Of course, we might run into problems which will make it take a little longer.

Can't wait!!!

Have you got a model about the size of the one in the image above that we could test it with?

If so, email it to support@renderplus.com and we will create a PDF and post it here to see how it works.

Just send you one titled sIMPLE mODEL.

We got it. Thanks.

We'll post something once we get it working.

Looking forward to it!

We are working on getting the 3D PDF t work with your model. T extracts fine, but we need to grab some material images from the .nXtMaterials to send to the PDF model.

Would it be OK if I used your model to demonstrate some other rendering features and posted images from it>

No problem, always like to see mt works up in lights.

Hi Albert, any news about this development? I'm really interested in it. Could I send you a model to try it out? Many thanks.

Yes - send a model to support@renderplus.com and we will use it to test the 3D PDF stuff.

"For compatibility with AutoCAD 2026 you would need to purchase a license upgrade for nXtRender (AccuRender).  As an AR5 license holder you are eligible for a discount which we can give to you if you contact us at support@renderplus.com."
