If the curve isn't too extreme, you can do it with planar mapping.

Set the projection to Forward only and make sure the decal is positioned at the back extreme of the arc.

Hello Peter,

I think I don't understand your procedur. You map a decal with a planar command on a curve ? Doesn't work. The panel I'm using have a thickness 1/2" I am a new NXT user !

Thanks again

Éric

Select the panel.

Go to nXt object properties.

Right click in the decals area and select New- Planar decal.

For the outside face of the arc select the bottom left corner, top left corner  and then bottom right corner and return.

Re-select the panel.

Go to nXt object properties.

Right click on the decal and select Properties.

Set the decal direction to Forward only.

For the inner face of the arc you'll need to temporarily draw a rectangle as shown and then repeat the process.

Thank you very much, I will play with that during the week end.

Bonne fin de semaine

Éric

"For compatibility with AutoCAD 2026 you would need to purchase a license upgrade for nXtRender (AccuRender).  As an AR5 license holder you are eligible for a discount which we can give to you if you contact us at support@renderplus.com."

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More
