Those are all damn good Mike! Is it new version of Lumion? Giving me the feel of Unreal Engine 4... but polished to the limits (sometimes too much IMHO). A lot of work and good results anyway.

Hi george..

unreal engine still mainly for games that`s why most gaming companies use it, you can also

do your architectural walk through animation, however doesnt have plants built in, moving cars,3d people, etc etc.

i tried twinmotion too, same as lumion ,less quality still got good features.

Lumion 8 took it to another level...photos and video production... with preset finishes features ( ie cloudy day, sunny, dawn, realistic etc etc)...really cool

The dog...is it the same on every scene? :P

:D:D:D....give that dog a treat.....poor thing ...was in the snow clip...outside the house on his own....i feel sorry for him..:)

Digging in different mine Mike, here is a 3 hours mashup for pergola situation and presentation. Not done in nXt though (even if it could easily be done there as well) :)

Nice one George.......now...

if you got adobe aftereffect.... you can easily add animated 3d people in your scene....

take your scene to aftereffect ... add 3d people clips and make a 15 second movie clip .

Thanks Mike! By the way, H N Y! Well I am not going to make animations, as there wasn't any customer interested in it until now. I am learning (quite slowly) the transition of static models from Blender to Unreal Engine editor for real time walkthroughs, that can be captured to movie clips (for those haven't enough GPU card power) I am still not getting results comparable to still renders, though there is great potential in it undoubtedly.

happy new 2018 to you too....

let me know how the experiment going....i can lend you ;) moving people to test it....

mike

Another pergola just finished.

i like it

Was this all done in AutoCAD with nXtRender?

I've been tasked with learning how to animate my designs in AutoCAD, though they're not nearly as complex as what you've done here. Would you be willing to help point me in the right direction for how to do this?

No, it was not.

I have absolutely no experience of doing animations, but I am sure AutoCAD is rather not a good tool to do them. More animation-oriented software should be of your interest. And it always depends on what do you want to get and how much are you willing to pay for it. Mike is using quite expensive suite called Lumion, but when you know you can have such animations fast and easily, price really doesn't matter. On the other hand, I am using free software called Blender3D. It requires more effort, but gives really good results after a while ;)

Good day everyone,Can anyone here help me with these issues i keep having with nxt render for autocad ?1. How do you bring in textured models into autocad ( 3ds and obj) without losing their textures or having to re-assign them.2. How do you move these objects from place to place without experiencing viewport refresh sluggishness in the autocad viewport ?3. How do you add dirt to fabric textures for rendering.4.
