AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

I have two laptops, an HP DVD Pavillion and an ASUS Q4000. The former transmit only video when a HDMI cable is plugged into it and the other end to the LED tv, while the later transmit both video and audio.

Why am I have this issue?

1. First try to swap HDMI cables to check them both. If problem swaps too, get a new one.

2. Your HDMI port could be broken. Only special service with testing hardware can check all lines in HDMI port connectors.

3. Check sound devices in Windows control panel. Maybe the output of the sound of the problematic machine is set wrong (but unlikely, as HDMI is not managed that way)

The bad news may be the fact that your laptop HDMI port has a problem. Difficult situation, if it is out of guarantee period, as it is rather sure, that the whole motherboard should be replaced. Good luck.

I have the same problem with my HP laptop. I found this on the HP website:

Let me know if it works.

Thanks, works like a dream.

"For compatibility with AutoCAD 2026 you would need to purchase a license upgrade for nXtRender (AccuRender).  As an AR5 license holder you are eligible for a discount which we can give to you if you contact us at support@renderplus.com."
