advanced rendering for AutoCAD
Known problem?
Rendering model from AutoCAD vieport (without background image of course) all seems to be nice.
Rendering the same scene from Walkabout window (using background image) there is strange "blind spot" area where transparent object (accurender glass) covers the background image.
Is it known problem? How can it be avoided?

Handrail rods are designed that way :) Customer just wanted glass instead of metal grid.

Sky finally combined in GIMP, using alpha channel. Working now on plants, shrubs, IVYs etc.

Check your background settings and make sure you haven't done something different to the refracted background -- reset it to defaults if you have.
Otherwise this may be some sort of precision problem (I doubt it though, a background setting is likely the culprit here.) If you can't figure it out, I'm happy to take a look at the model.

You were right Roy. Changing visible sky to "Picture & colour" the transparency of material towards background was restored.

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this.
