Hi Roy, this is my first render using nXt full version. I used 5 channels for sky, sun, point lights, omni lights and object brightness, in this order.

I used very low values for sun and sky, because in many times, they "burned" the wood of the floor. Is too difficult to me improve the illumination effects, so I decided question you about some tips.

I expect your comments, thanks a lot!

Always provide nXt with accurate lighting values whenever possible. Make sure the drawing units are correct-- this is particularly important with artificial lighting. Start with the sun and sky intensities at the default of 1.0. Add a little cloudiness if you prefer, say 0.7. Some general tips on lighting can be found here. Some tips for combining daylighting and artificial lighting can be found here.

If you want to send the model and/or the .nXtImage file I may be able to help a little more here. Use Support->Upload a File to upload large files.
it occurs to me that one of the most common mistakes in arnxt is setting the correct drawing units. Maybe adding somekind of a button in nxt could be a help, no? And by the way, i still believe that the possibility of giving names to lighting channels would be a big improvement. I believe this already exists for nxt for sktechup
