AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Adds support for *.skp files to the Texture Mesh Object.  Performance is a little slow for large files.  Let me know if it works.

Thanks Roy. Yes, in fact I think I'm spending too much time in low quality models...

Hi,

I have bee using NXT 1.0.271 since it came out and am a little confused on how to upgrade.

in AR3 and then AR4 I used to down load a upgrade file but don't see that now.

Thank you

Peter Norwood

The latest nXt on the download page will work fine with your current license.  Select "Download for use with Purchased License".  Just run the installer after downloading.

Thank you very much.

Could you please tell me if I have a commercial license or an educational license.

I think I had an educational license with AR3 and AR4 but may have a full NXT.

Thanks again

Peter Norwood

You've got a standard nXt license.  Educational licenses have not (to date) been offered for this product.

Thanks much

Hello Roy

Is this an unrelated problem when trying to opening a .skp model?

"Application failed to start because MSVC100.DLL was not found.  Re-installing my fix the problem."

Yep, different problem.  Try downloading and installing from here and let me know.  These may refuse to install.

Good morning Roy,

I installed the MS visual c++ 2010 and ran the repair for  Net Framework 4 as recommanded from the web for XP-64.

No change.  Nxt will ask for an insert location and then display the error.

Any other suggestions other than reinstalling the previous build?

The link I gave you was for x86 (32 bit)-- did you install that one or the one for x64?  If so you need to try to install the one for x86.

I did install the one for the X64 bit system.  Will try the 32 bit .

Success.  It's all in the numbers.

The model inserted without a hitch, materials and all.  As noted earlier, the material scales will need to be edited at times.  All materials attached to the test model I inserted came in with a scale of 1x1 with the model scaled correctly.

Super programming, Roy.  Great up-grade.

Thanks for the help.
