advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Does the panorama in nxt work the same as the panoramic network did in ar4 and earlier versions?
I think I remember selecting positions in a plan view that the software would render into a panoramic network to be used with smoothmove pan viewer, but it has been a few years since I did that.
Does the panorama rendering in nxt work the same as before, producing a pan file that can be used with the smooth move pan viewer?
If so, how does that work with the walkabout window view for a 360 degree panorama?
No-- nXt has a panoramic projection in WalkAbout. You can save the output as a jpg or png and it can be used by a lot of different pano viewers. There's already been a few discussions about pano software-- try using Search and see if it comes up with some other threads.
This topic should have it's own thread-- not be attached to a render farm message. Start a new discussion thread (use the Add button) with a title like "Panoramas" if you want it to persist. I'm going to delete this one in a little while.
Hello, I use the NXT and NXT AccuRender Farm with 6 PC's on a network of 1Gbps.
At the end of the FARM services , I open the pictures on NXT Editor and there is only one image in WHITE.
Please can you help me?
Have you tried a single render on a single machine?
Peter
Yes, in my PC works right ... Only when sent to the FARM that happens!
The strange that a while ago I did a job with the approximate weight of this file that is 65 Mb and FARM worked perfectly!
Your best bet is to zip and upload all of the files necessary for me to test here. If you decide to go this route, use the Support->Upload a File menu option above.
Thanks for the support Roy, I am sending the DWG file.
The file contains several objects of Archvision RPC.
On page UPLOAD appears this error after some time loading the file:
span style="color: #990000;">Error>span style="color: #990000;">Code>AccessDenied</Code>
span style="color: #990000;">Message>Invalid according to Policy: Policy expired.</Message>span style="color: #990000;">RequestId>3EFF89E3BF8CECDD</RequestId>span style="color: #990000;">HostId>f18bkdtxYLHgsiTnEJMuqgeQW1YCHAjym45t3lIUVYImxM0+0zMZbKuLuzQnLItj</HostId></Error>
Try again. Make sure you zip the file first. It's possible there's a problem at McNeel's end.
I sent a direct message to you, thanks for the help Roy.
With a single frame render and one farm node this is what I'm getting (it appears to work fine):
I'm not getting any background (the image was not included with the drawing) or RPCs (I'd have to grab each one of those individually to fully test.)
I would try the thing without RPCs to see if that's causing the problem. It's possible you're running out of memory on some of the nodes (what types of PCs are involved?)
BTW, the refraction on the glass is not correct, it should probably be tagged as Thin.
