AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hi,

I don't remember if it was asked before, but can't really spot similar threads.

I never updated my nXt to newer version, as I'm really not doing many renderings and the tool I'd already have absolutely covers my rendering needs. But I would like to try the new features of the program.

Is it possible to have installed both programs on the same machine and run them both? I mean something like: one fully running nXt 1.0.318 installation (for production) and nXtRender for AutoCAD in demo mode (for evaluation purposes)? Thanks.

I'm betting "no", because several things are stored in the same place for different versions.

Do you happen to have a second computer anywhere?

That's correct Albert, I have two almost identical computers, one in the office and one at home (slightly slower one). They have both installed the same set of programs I use for my work. I could probably try what you suggest on my home machine.

Use 32 bits(autocad 2007) and 64 bits(autocad 2010 or later). That way you can have both version 318 and later on the same machine.

Render 1 copy (1)

This is a remake of one of Peter Milner's scenes. I dont have the file. I photo-matched it in sketchup and rendered in nxt render for autocad.I just retouched it and increased the resolution.
