AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

good morning

I installed the render farm for 3 pc (Free version).

before Christmas the program functioned well.

today it only works on 2 pc!

I thought the problem was the PC, so I installed it on another.

but on the third pc still doesn't start, or better, starts the icon for a few seconds and then closes.

I think it's a path problem on the network.

even uninstalling the program from the third pc, when i reopen render monitor (farm monitor), reopens with the old path. I think some old path remained in the program.

is there any configuration file (*.ini or something) that I can manually change the settings? I mean to change the path manually.

As far as I'm aware, the free version should only run on two machines. I'm surprised you managed to get it working on three.

machines client + 1 server (con autocad+nxt installed)

today only  1 machines client + 1 server (con autocad+nxt installed)

I did a test:

on an old PC I installed the render farm and it seems that it works.

then the problem is as I said: the new pc (have win7) has broken something and do not start again!!

Only 2 are permitted using the free version.  I'm not sure either how the third machine is sneaking in.

I then confirm that only 2 work, even if the farm monitor makes me see 3? I thought the free version was a server machine (where installed nxt) + 2 client (where there is NOT nxt).

There really isn't a "server" in this type of system.  All of the nodes are equal and the Monitor can be run on any machine.  Jobs can be created on any machine with nXtRender and AutoCAD (or some of the other nXtRender platforms.)

It does look like all three of your machines are participating-- not sure why and not sure I care that much.

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More

3D_Replication final

I created this replication of one of Peter Milner's renders, not with AI but with sketchup (with the matchnewphoto tool), autocad and nxtrender.Critics and comments are welcome.
