AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hi Roy,  we are having big problems in Venezuela with electricity power, so is very common that we get our electricity off for 5-20 minutes every day, sometimes I am rendering an image with path tracer  and this run for 24 hours or more, I lost my work at least a dozen times with this problem, so It will very useful at leat for me that you can load a rendered image and start again in the pass we left. Now you can continue a stopped image, but what I am asking for is the possibility, to save the image, shut down the computer, start again load the image and continue rendering in the las saved pass.

Thank in advance.

Second that here, like radiocity of days of old
Saved pass is a very good function for nxt, but I think you need a powerful ups. I have a same case, it just one a several second, but it will destroy my harddisk on this several second.
speaking of autosaved passes, i would like to be able to save them like autosave001, auosave002 ...in some cases, earlier passes is more useful and also, comparison of results at 50-100-150-200 ... passes would allow me to judge how mny passes I need more accurately in the future...
Certainly not something that's coming for a while. You might try a single-node render farm for this-- I'm in the process of updating the farm to the current build. There's even a way to back up all of the data on the farm (manually) so a render can certainly be restarted. Let me know if you want to pursue this, you'll need some help.

Edit-- never mind-- I don't think the render farm helps this problem very much....
would it be possible to make nXt autosave .nXtimage? If yes, then we would b closer to this "continue" function...would not we?
It does save an .nXtImage.

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More
