AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hi Kevin, thanks for all the good work, I start searching the materials you already upload to Accustudio. Is some way to download the complete library?   Thanks in advance and happy new year.

Regards,

You can still download the original AccuStudio materials library that was convert to nXt materials HERE. The new nXt material repository will eventually include all of that library as well as most of my own and any user submitted material.

Since nXt materials are now single files, we thought it would be best to offer then as single files. That way you can just download what you need and they are also now searchable.

Also I believe the converter did not handle the VCT materials well and some glass materials especially those with rubble bump. Unfortunately I have reached my daily quota of uploads and I pray I remember tomorrow would upload what I believe should be the correct
values for the VCT and glasses.

The attached glass material spits out error in ME.

A corrected intensity value VCT and a raw misinterpreted VCT.

If you use the AccuStudio Submission tool, you can upload any number of files. You need to login first. Zip them up and upload. Make sure you select the proper category to place the material.

UPLOAD HERE

I've been doing the thumbnail renders in my free time, so they may not be available right away.

If Roy could write Nxt to generate thumbnails straight like that from Nxt it would be faster. Really love them they look real cool.

If it works like AR4's thumbnails did, they are stored on the HD somewhere, but we (I) wanted something with a little flair and AccuStudio branding.

Here is what I keep get after some number of uploads, and yes I did login.

I see why. There's a setting on the site to limit uploads. It was set at 5. I changed it to 15 for now. I'll check with Daniel to see what he wants it set to.

You sure have  a lot of email accts ;-)

I should also say that each submitted zip should contain only one material. That makes my job much easier.
The limit needs to remain at five. This is to prevent someone from crashing the accustudio server with to many oversized files. If you have a bunch of materials, try zipping as many together...
ok, I reset it to 5. Uploading to ReMOSitory will create a single download with all materials. I'll just have to download it and to load each myself.
All material zipped together are similar and not random to make sort easier. At least from my end.

"Since nXt materials are now single files"...

no good for ACA users. We definitely have to have textures in separate file. Textures CAN NOT be embedded in ACA...as there are literally hundreds of xrefs, a texture of 1MB, repeated of 100 times, makes the final file unrenderable.
