advanced rendering for AutoCAD
Hi,
I want to create a "fly thru" or "walk thru" animation using Nxt in CAD 2015. Anyone has experience with this and would like to share how to use it? Any important tips?
Thank you!

Sorry you're not getting a better response here-- our animation stuff is pretty rudimentary. Hoping someone will still chime in though. I haven't looked at this stuff for such a long time, my guess is that the software I used to use for stitching single frames into animation files, for example, is probably obsolete and maybe unavailable.
Is CoMotion no longer being updated?
Its been years for me too.
I think Daniel spent some time getting CoMotion running again.

As to stitching frames, the tool I used to use wasn't working last time I tried, but I did find a tool called VirtualDub that works well.
CoMotion works but it doesn't do anything more than Accurender does. It used to have acceleration, camera roll, zoom and object animation, but sadly all of this has disappeared.
In Accurender you can create a camera path and a target path, then decide how many frames you want which will determine how fast the camera moves. This is then rendered as individual images which then need to be combined to create a single animation.
I used Rad Video tools to stitch frames together from here: http://www.radgametools.com/smkdown.htm
Very simple, but effective.
