AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

I am a new user and when i add a material or plant its like shoot in the dark

i have no GUI inside of accurender nxt 64 that shows me the matrerials or plants

I set the path to the location i downloaded all the material and plants from the website

but can not see a button or tab

I saw an  Irender Plus Toolbar  discussion but do not have such a thing

How do i intergrate this?

thanks in advance

i see the planteditor and material editor in the nxt directory in programs but no buttons or interface on the base program to get there
Also   if the plant is changed in the plant editior    does it have to be reinserted into the drawing or will the drawing update

To insert a material from a file see this article.  The second two options in the first section explain how to grab a material from an external file.  You'll need to navigate to the folder where you installed the file (I believe the installer also now adds a desktop icon for faster access via explorer-- I'll check on this last point.)

Inserting a plant is explained here.

The plant editor is external and needs to be accessed using the Windows Start menu.  There is a folder called nXt which contains material, plant, and image editors.  The plant and image editors are not accessible from within AutoCAD.  The material editor is identical to the advaned editor inside AutoCAD, but designed to operate directly on material files.

Plants must be reinserted from the file to be updated.

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More

3D_Replication final

I created this replication of one of Peter Milner's renders, not with AI but with sketchup (with the matchnewphoto tool), autocad and nxtrender.Critics and comments are welcome.
