EDIT PATH FOR MATERIAL MAPS AND DECALS

Is there a way to edit the path for a decal or material map once it's applied? For instance, if the file is moved form one computer network to another, the decal is mapped to a network drive that is not available on the other system.

 

Once the decal is applied, the path is shown in the object properties box, but I can't seem to re-assign the path. The only way is to delete the decal and re-apply it with the new path.

 

Is there a way to edit the path directly, and avoid this step?

Can you get to it via the Decal Properties DB? -- right click and select Properties....--  If you can, then clicking on the decal image should get you to a select file DB.

Alternatively, you could just move the decal to somewhere on your nXt search path (you could make a decal folder for them.)  It should find it then.
